Unfortunately, if you order gluten free (or any special meal) you get what you're given. I've had gluten free in CW and First (I'm coeliac btw), and was tremendously disappointed with both when compared to my partners equivalent "normal" meal. Nowadays I don't bother pre ordering special meals, I go with my gut (so to speak) as to what the best option is on the menu, and live with the consequences (!).
I *think*, but someone more experienced will be able to advise, the CC now have allergy information for all menu options onboard.
