Vienna to Prague by train is a little long, but you could certainly do that or fly.
4 hours non-stop ... not bad considering the train station is in town, no need to arrive 1+ hour early to an airport out in Schwechat, etc... more comfort, too!
I'd fly from France to Switzerland and train it the rest of the way, being that there are multiple destinations in that region that's on the destination list. And the OBB service is always extremely clean and enjoyable
