Yes, with AA for example, OLCI with visa was never possible, and I check in at the airport when I fly with them. But that isn't enough - BA did have a perfectly workable OLCI+visa solution that has now been broken. While checking in at the airport with BA is of course not a disaster, it is still an unwelcome change to the BA service offering and I hope it is just a bug/mistake that will be fixed.
