Kind of last min trip to Malaysia has come up, to Penang specifically. Been trying to maximize my MQMs since work is paying for the flight. Sort of racking my brain on a Skyteam route as I'm not familiar with the area. Figured it might be a good challenge here for you more seasoned fare route finders.

Here's the parameters:

- Business Class
- Round trip from MCO
- Need to be in Penang on Sunday 9/13 (Depart on 9/10 or 9/11)
- Return on 9/19
- Don't mind booking separate (non skyteam) short leg in/out of PEN if it makes sense
- Wouldn't mind an overnight layover somewhere cool

Right now I'm finding flights on China Southern for just under $5k. I had originally estimated $6k to the business office two months ago. Since its "last minute" I can probably get that number up to $8k-$9k.
