Booked this morning over the phone with AA
DUB-LHR-JFK-PHX-HNL (and return) for the end of November. £1,230 for 1200 tier points in Business (DUB-JFK legs) and First (JFK-HNL legs). Overnight in Pheonix on the way there with 11 hrs in HNL.
Super friendly reservation agent. Journey starts on Thursday evening (positioning flight to DUB from LCY) and then back into city at around lunchtime.

My November tier point run been re-routed since purchasing the ticket last week! Probably something to do with the new AA/US schedules. I am still scheduled to leave DUB to LHR at 7am Instead of BA/AA LHR-JFK-PHX (arriving at 19.51 on 27/08), now it is AA/AA LHR-DFW-PHX (arriving at 20.27). More of less the same timings but instead of 350 tier points, I'll be getting 200 tiers instead (less 150 tier point). The inbound leg remains unchanged. Any suggestions on how to approach this when I call AA? Ideally would like to overnight it in PHX so that I arrive in HNL at around midday and have 11 hours there to have a look around, but main priority to get the 1200 tier points for this journey, instead of 1050...
Any advice would be appreciated
