Wrong email used on United wifi - What now?
Here is the scenario. I used my iPad to buy wifi on a 737-900 - so using the lame system where you are being identified by your email address. Then I switched to my laptop and accidentally omitted the "c" character in the ".com" part of the email address.
The result was I was not offered the option to switch devices and there was no way of changing my email address / logging in as a different user, etc. to correct my error. I switched browsers and deleted cookies, but apparently United uses the MAC address to identify you, so I kept being the user with an email address ending in ".om". There was no way of correcting my email address and switch devices.
Thoughts? Did I miss something? When is UA going to make the user experience across the Boeing system and the Airbus system be the same?
