Excellent suggestions both, I'm swinging towards the Fairmont on the basis of a triple upgrade offer, but if that isn't available will probably do the Eliot.

Hotels on the dates I"m going seem to be out of kilter in terms of pricing vs. rest of year, and in some cases relative prices for certain hotels.
