I need recommendations on a close, relatively inexpensive hotel around HNL airport with same day cancellation ability. Currently scheduled to arrive HNL around 9:15p on a Sat night, forcing us to stay over and take an interisland flight to Kona Sunday morning.
I'm hoping to be able to get in on an earlier flight, either via changing tickets (DL award tix), or by flying standby. However, I may not know lodging needs until sometime Saturday. My father found a $60/night rate at Quality Inn (I think) near the airport, but he said it was with a 72hr cancellation policy, obviously way too far in advance.

PS - a late night restaurant within walking (or taxi ride) distance would also be useful.
