Just an update then. Left luggage at BUD was pretty decent and saved me lugging a heavy case around in the heat. It costs EUR24 for 48 hours and EUR14 for 24 hours, with a scale of charges for shorter periods that I did not take note of. They were pretty decent, because I came back after 26 and a half hours, and they only charged me EUR14.
