I am flying BWI-LHR in a couple weeks. My plan was to book the wife & I in WT+ but for some reason American Express could not do the booking. I could not make the change online or when I called BA (they said Amex needed to make the change). So, does BA do upgrades at the airport say when I check in? I am only a Ruby in the Oneworld system and I AM NOT Looking for a free upgrade, will pay.
Also, do they ever offer deals, we would upgrade to CW, if the price is right.
