Scott the Flyer - I'm not familiar with the underground from terminal 3 to 1. Where do I find it? Are we talking the London transport underground or an under ground walkway from terminal 1 to 3?

Do you know if I would have any trouble checking into my connecting flight on BD at terminal 1. Since at the point we only have carryone, can I checkin and get boarding passes at the gate?
