The best I can do is to eliminate the CLT from JFK-LAX and take a direct flight. I can't see any way of routing from JFK to LAX via anywhere else on the same day, with enough time at JFK as well. The flight back from LAX to JFK can work out via CLT. At least that gets me the TPs for First on the return leg (210+60) but on the outbound leg the only option is the direct flight which gets just 140 TPs and so loses me 130. I can't take an earlier BA flight from LHR as the flight from TLV doesn't arrive in time ... I have also tried SFO and LAS instead of LAX, but nothing doing.
