I've noticed that there is a difference in the offerings on the A concourse and the B concourse? Clearly the A concourse is the jewel in EK's F class lounge array - but I've actually been a bit more impressed with the actual food offerings on the B terminal. For example, I haven't been able to find a wheel of parmesan with shavings in the A terminal - in B, the huge wheel is right there. I also happen to like the ability to watch the chefs cook what I've ordered - that seems to be available in B but not in A. Once in A, I've never attempted to go to the B terminal and then come back, but I assume that is possible, right? I always seem to arrive in A (from LAX) and then depart from B (to JED) - and vice versa. So, it is typically dinner in A and breakfast in B, if I actually feel like eating.
As far as what to order, I really cannot help. In A, I tend to order something like a club sandwich with fries (nice but nothing to write home about) - in B, I go for a normal breakfast of eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes and breads, along with the requisite parmesan shards from the wheel. Occasionally, I'll add kippers just to throw caution to the wind.
