Thanks Mary, but I'm not sure I understand the implication.

With Hyatt GP, there are no blackouts I believe--so a room is a room is a room--it's available for retail sale then it's available for award redemption--of any kind, correct?

I figured I'd better snag my rooms (hence the 2 reservations, for now being held with a credit card) until I 1) decide which property I want to stay at, and 2) receive my credited 2 free nite chits. Then I'll call Hyatt reservations, cancel the one I don't want and swap out my existing CC reservation for the 2 free night chits.

Am I missing something? Is this not permitted?
