I wouldn't normally spend $1k/night on a hotel room, but since it's a perk of new card membership, I figured WTH--my girl deserves to be treated right on her first trip to NYC.
I can't tell if you're paying cash or using a free night.
But if you're paying cash, there is
no way I would pay $1000/night for either of these two properties. There are at least 10-20 other hotels in NYC that provide a better experience at that price point.
If you are on a free night, the Park Hyatt has a higher "wow" factor. But as a Plat, they're likely going to give you a crappy room and you're going to pay >$100 day for breakfast.
