UA does not do DEL-ORD non-stop. AI is the only carrier that does this. UA only flies EWR from DEL.
Either way, you have to transit via DEL if using UA miles.

Using AA miles, EY can be a very good option via AUH. You will only transit AUH and will get to use US pre-clearance.
Another option is CX/KA, KTM-HKG on KA and onwards on CX.
