I have just noticed something that I wonder is related to the new United.com. United flight itineraries always used to get added automatically to my Google Calendar - suddenly that has stopped. The other thing is that the email that is generated by United no longer has that fancy schmancy look to it with the United flights at the head of the note so it looks like the emails from United are not being recognised any longer as events. I don't have any flights to book for the rest of this year on United so is anyone else noticing this issue? I am not sure if it related to the "new" United.com.
At someones suggestion I emailed myself the itinerary from the app on my Android phone but that still displays the same issue and it is not added to my calendar.
Has anyone else noticed this recent behaviour? Events are getting added otherwise, for instance I had an opentable reservation added to the calendar successfully today.
You must be using Gmail to receive United emails, right?
Those fancy schmancy headings and auto-add to the calendar were done by Gmail rather than by United. It's parsing your email and then creating that header and adding it to your calendar. I still have it showing for a flight booked 8/17, but on some more complicated itineraries it doesn't show up.
