This caused me lot of grief, i wasn't sure of the return date, so I placed 2 awards on hold with different return days, and when I decided, AA had canceled one of the held reservations, no message, no nothing. I couldn't rebook for the same amount of miles, so I was forced to stay an extra day for no reason.
