How about the KC-135? On Boeing's web site it is (was) listed as 717-100. Apparently there were enough differencies in the fuselage to warrant a number other than 707 (on which it is based), so they used 717. It will be interesting to see what they will do with two different -100's if they ever shorten the present 717.
