You go from being a 'frequent flyer' to an 'aviation insider' with a pattern of behaviour that suggests you are trying to take advantage of the airline.
On the bright side, if all the F cabins were full of people on £600 fares it would make it seem terribly unfair to have to ever pay anywhere near full price again. Also, it looks like everyone can re-set their alarm clocks for Thursdays and have a few extra hours in bed!
If BA end up paying out a few court cases, the customer information they've gained from this sorry tale will more than cover it.
They may now do a targeted campaign against everyone who's booked these fares. "Sorry we messed up, how would you like 20% off your next F booking?". Get a few people paying up on lightly loaded flights, and BA is a winner.
