Perhaps give the OP the benefit of the doubt rather than talk about fraud, maybe he just went a bit stir crazy in GC during a longish layover (which was well advertised in the lounge meetup thread) and starting musing about this.

I'd agree that the CCR, while perfectly pleasant, isn't worth going to these extremes for (I'm yet to visit a lounge that would be for me)...
