I would think they would want to have it ready for the start of the first Vikings season in the new stadium but I suppose that isn't likely given it is only a year away. If built, it would be a prime location for games.
There's a more ambitious mixed use development right in "front" of the stadium that will have a hotel, apartments, offices, and a park. It seems to be farther along in the planning and permitting process.
