ozstamps as a very frequent traveller I couldn't agree with you more. Over the last month I switched from e-tickets to paper tickets based on problems in the past. This weekend, because I had a paper ticket my flight changes were a breeze. My associate who tried to follow my lead in switching flights couldn't because the gate agent simply could not do the e-ticket to paper conversion in time to meet the flight.
In my past experience with a paper ticket the agent does a lot less typing to make a change as compared to changing an e-ticket where it looks like they are writing a novel!
