For the love of god whatever you do don't show up at the airport flashing the credit card to get the bag or board early. Any associated perks from your card will be automatically taken into account when you bookso your free bags and boarding zone will be pre determined. IIRC the gold card gets you zone 1 boarding which is after all the pre-boarding, first class/diamonds, and sky priority. So you'd be in the 4th group to board.
