Are we able to leave our hand luggage in the lounge and pick it up at say 10.30pm that night? (I note that the lounge closes at midnight). Our cabin baggage is checked all the way through.
Edit: I should add that i will have access to the other airside lounges - so perhaps before clearing immigration, one of these lounges may be better?? Though is there an issue then getting "out" of the airport?
You can access The Arrival as you are arriving in CX J with more than four hours of layover.
You can leave your luggage at The Arrival Just remember to pick in up before lounge closes. (BTW, I am confused. If your cabin luggage is checked all the way through, that sounds like checked luggage to me
)
While you can access the airside lounges, there is more hassle. It can add an hour easily because of transfer, and waiting for CX to send someone to escort you back to the arrival level. If HKIA is closing this loophole one day, you will be stuck airside for 19 hours.
