Don't know about the Ritz, but everyone makes it sound like a once in a lifetime event!

As for Marriott limiting Elite access to their lounges, so that they can charge extra for the (upgraded) room on Concierge level with lounge access, I will pass in domestic hotels. It just isn't worth it.
