I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

A UA pilot could live in another country but all pilot crew bases are in the U.S. I know of guys that live in Singapore, Australia, South Africa, like that, but that's a pretty ugly commute. I don't even like driving 25 minutes to my airport.

If NY based, we could fly out of EWR/JFK/LGA; LAX/SNA, used to cover those two plus LGB/BUR/ONT; ORD/MDW; and SFO/OAK/SJC, and IAD/DCA/BWI, but those are the only possible combinations.

757/767 yes, A-319/A-320 yes, but no other combinations.

It's possible to do some third-party phone calls using SatCom but none of us are stupid enough to do it. It's rare we even use it to call the company.

I'm gonna say...faker...CATCH ME IF YOU CAN wannabe.
