Also, ANA has started a new NRT-KUL flight. You're not getting MQMs for the KE flight anyway so I would consider the NH option as well. Main drawback for this is the regional configuration on the NH aircraft. Still the same excellent NH crew though.
I sometimes connect in SIN as well to KUL but that always requires an overnight stay. You could maximize your MQMs by getting on DL to SIN and then taking the 6am flight out the next day.
It would be pretty awful to arrive into SIN around 1 am and have a flight the next morning at 6 am on a business trip.
Switching to ANA at NRT would work pretty well as they use the same terminal as DL. They also have a nice lounge there for international flights or with a business class ticket, one would also be entitled to use the *A UA lounge.
