When I really, really have to be somewhere on Wednesday morning, I schedule an arrival on Tuesday morning. No ifs, ands or buts about it and no excuses that someone has to be at a kid's event at home. NO EXCUSES. If I can't miss the event at home, I won't commit to be at the business event the next day. This is true whether the flight is "direct" or otherwise. NO EXCUSES.
