Seems as if I can accomplish 4 of the 5 tasks simply just by booking the cheapest weekend stay I can find (Sat night and Sunday night in December) at a nearby Holiday Inn Express (T&C states that HIE is included?) for $255 including all taxes and fees at the bonus points package rate, which'll give me 1,000 bonus points a night. Paying with my IHG card gives another 5 points per $.
So, 43,200 points (from offers) + 2,000 points (2 nights booking with bonus points rate) + 1,275 points (5 points per dollar from using IHG card to book) = 46,475 points which equate to acquiring points at about .5 cents per point and I get a hotel stay. Seems worth it, yes? Am I missing something?
