Anyone in their right mind (in coach at least) will fly an A320 over a 737 any day... I think all of the 737s I've ever been on have had the 'archaic' jam-packed coach seat configuration... airbuses seem to have seats that are a bit wider and like an extra inch of pitch... actually a noticeable difference. However, the clincher in my book is the noise factor... 737s (esp. the OLD ones that should've been retired 15 years ago...) are so loud you have to deafen it with a high setting on the headphones. Airbuses actually feel like a mode of transportation, in that you're not bombarded by engine noise... my $00.02
