First off.. Hawaiians are americans btw.. 50th state remember?!

Currently staying at ghk (since saturday) on c&p+dsu. Got the garden suite in poipu wing. Its a nice room. Very spacious, we love it. Currently tanning on the hammock with the gf right outside, listening to the waves. Very relaxing. Property is huge. Walk to pools is "far" but we are from nyc so yeah... We walk a lot so not a problem. Getting to the club lounge is not "convenient" since you really cannot walk directly there but will require you to take the elevator to the 3rd floor but very nice to have to grab a snack/drinks. Weather has been nice on sat. Did captn andys napali coast raft tour sunday (it was amazing... Weather was sunny almost the entire time. As we were turning around and heading back there was heavy wind/rain so we sat thru an hr of "bullet" rain! Poured today/this morning (monday) so we decided to drive up the north shore (amazing and sunny). For diamond amenity, chose the cabana option but the cabana choices arent great. You can pay the difference with cash to upgrade to a better cabana but we decided to just keep the base cabana ($50). Pick the #4 lagoon cabana. Its the best one (best view/location). The sand in the lagoon does hurt a but when stepping on it barefoot.
