I have to agree with Mileonaire that Birmingham is a great airport.

The Blues bar is the best airport bar I know, the improvements to the shopping facilities have been supurb, in the main terminal the Express Channel (open at peak times) is great, parking is also great.

I use Birmingham virualy every week as it is my local airport, one of my favorite features is you can leave your car to be valet cleaned - I just love this.

Another great feature is the 'designatetd' BA Exec Gold/Silver Car Park (when it is working).

Everything in the Eurohub (BA terminal) is just as it should be, and I look forward to seeing the new air-side bar when it opens.

My only criticism would be that the two Exec lounges in the Main Terminal could do with redesiging, they are very dated now.


Having said all that, there is no way I would fly to Birmingham if my final detination was London. As much as I hate Heathrow and Gatwick, convienience wins.
