According to Australian Business Traveller:
British Airways will parlay the Concorde Room brand of its elite lounge at London's Heathrow airport to a new series of VIP nooks called Concorde Bars.
Somewhat less of a fully-fledged first class lounge, but certainly more than just a bar, these cosy havens will sprout at selected locations on BA's international lounge network.
Like its flagship parent, access to a Concorde Bar will be restricted to British Airways' first class passengers and top-tier Executive Club frequent flyers holding a Concorde Room Card or the invitation-only black Premier card.
The Concorde Bar makes its first appearance in the airlines' new British Airways Singapore Lounge, which opens this Tuesday August 25, "and it won't be the last that you see" suggests Rob Williams, BA's Head of Asia Pacific Sales.
Looks like dedicated FLounges that oneworld Emeralds can use is going to be a thing of the past.
