True, but s/he also used $300 as the price of the Samsonite, so that's the piece of information I went with. I'm not going to spend $300 on Samsonite (or 250 euro or 200 pounds, or whatever other currency might be at play).

If the OP wants recommendations on where to shop for an appropriate bag, that can be given if a location is provided. I stand by my post that it's hard to give any additional recommendation without knowing total budget and priorities for the bag.

(and I have owned a few samsonite bags over the years - they did fine for a few years, had quite a few zipper issues including some that were actually covered by warranty but it's a PITA to get the bag to a store that can handle the fix - and I never paid close to $300 for them)
