Miserable IAH A gates is about right - I had a 2.5 hour wait there on Friday. The free wifi advertised in the terminal didn't work either .

The QF/OneWorld lounge at LAX TBIT was nice though, if somewhat busy with the three QF flights and the BA one.

Note to self: the 13 hour flight between Aus and West Coast US is brutal in Y.
