I just had to twist arms in AC Reservations to get my $800 CAD VDB voucher applied to the entirety -- including YQ -- of my base fare for an upcoming trip to the Middle East. The aircanada.com site abides US law by showing the entire base fare without breaking out YQ for my booking, and thus I refused to tolerate any Canadian nonsense likening YQ to a "tax" (the US DOT has increasingly warned airlines about deceptive practices with YQ listings).

I should be getting my receipt sometime today or tomorrow, hopefully.
