Checked in yesterday with family on the last leg of our Barbados vacation. Usually seamless, enjoy the beachfront suites and the ease of the executive lounge with the kids.

However want to warn to stay those considering to stay away or at the least arrange one of the limited rooms away from the noise.

After several phone calls we were told that "light work" was being done between 11am and 3pm, not construction. Don't believe it. There is hammering, drilling, pounding and things that are being dragged around.

A room free of noise and pounding "cannot be guaranteed" during the hours of 11-3 if we 'choose' to remain in the room... Funny, thought I was paying for uninterrupted use.

More than disappointed and will find a solution (or not) with management.

But, in the interim, don't want anyone else to loose days of their vacation negotiating the same issue while on site.
