How did this end up working out for you?

We will be doing US - LHR - BRU on BA soon and on the return leg I will be travelling on my own with two 5 year olds, a young toddler (ie not a child who can walk through the airport) and assorted hand luggage. I'm trying to determine whether taking a stroller to the gate will help or hinder - via having to go to the luggage claim - us. Carrying the toddler is not a viable option.
