Best Hotel choice you could have made for PEI. Been staying there since the 90's off and on so know it well.

Been spending 7-10 nights there every summer the last 10 years as a Delta Privileges Plat/Plat+member and service/upgrades have been excellent. Renovations two years ago really helped improve the stay. The new attached conference center and convenient harbor side board walk add to the character and enjoyment of the place. As nice as everything is it still has that darn small 4-person elevator from underground parking to the lobby area so if you have lots of luggage off load at the hotel entrance then park below...forget the cart struggle from the parking garage. I recall parking is $16 per day and watch the clearance on the garage entrance as many higher SUV's / Pick-ups have to park on the street in front.

That all said....since the Marriott merged programs June 18 I have noticed upward migration on pricing in most Delta's I'd frequented in the past and the Delta Prince Edward in particular compared to my past rates booked well in advance and around peak times. Unfortunately, I'll pass on them this year and save $1000+ by booking an even better condo 2 Bed/ 2 bath w/ huge balcony deal a short walk away. At one time there were few quality choices in the area but that's changed a lot and Delta priced themselves out of some biz. But for nostalgia staying one night and burn up my $300 Plat credit...still a nice place but prone to over pricing worse than normal since the MR deal.
