The Eurostar rant thread...

I was stranded in Paris in June due to striking workers setting a fire on rails. Got to station to learn this and told "try again tomorrow" seriously? They have enough disruptions you'd think they start bussing folks! I had a ticket that night in London to the Tower of London Keys Ceremony which has a multiple months wait. I ended up having my London travel agent get me a last seat on flight from Orly (nothing was showing with online apps) to LCY at a ridiculous price and after a check in delay of an hour and three flight delays arrived in the city. I missed two Airbnb key pickups and luckily had a friend to help otherwise I would have needed to get a hotel room. I missed the ceremony after all the chaos of the day. Eurostar isn't a star in my mind and if I can avoid in future will try to.
