Help with reward flight from Toronto to Singapore
Hi guys,
This is my first time using any sort of Aeroplan points to fly anywhere so some help would be greatly appreciated. Basically i have to be in Singapore 1st/2nd week of Jan 2016 and will be back in May (flexible).
I'm trying to keep it a one-way flight to keep my flexibility in terms of booking for the flight back. I took a look at the Aeroplan website and it seems like I'm pretty much stuck paying fees on all the flights they have flying with Air Canada? I'm sure there's a way around this... but how?
Ideally I'd also like a stopover in another city somewhere in Europe (or anywhere else really) so I can do some exploring for a couple days. This would likely occur during the last week of Dec and then I would fly to Singapore after New Years.
I'm not sure if any of this is possible on a one-way flight? If possible I appreciate all of your help!
