It is a stunning little secret hotel. There are lots more. But this one is a gem.

What better than to be on a side street without all the noise, what better to wake up and have breakfast in that beautiful garden. Then a romantic dinner there. What better to get out of the hotel and be surround by art galleries, on a small typical Parisian street. What better than to walk up the corner and have coffee with further artists sitting next to you talking their days away. What better that to be walking towards Les beaux art building and what a marvelous building. The last refuge of the olden Paris.

What is more romantic than being lost around those beautiful small streets.

Would you thing his wife would rather this or a Hilton/ whatever chain?

If it were me and he gave me this as a gift for 2 nights, I'd appreciate it more than a week at a Hilton/Sofitel/Hyatt.

But each has their own criteria. Am an eternally romantic female and am writing from that prespective.

Getting out of the hotel, turning left, having coffee at the corner cafe where the kids are still bohemians. Then going right and strolling along the Seine, going to one of the islands and having a picnic lunch… How much better can it get?

What better (for a woman) than to wake up on her 50th in a beautiful room (vs a generic) with the person she chose to spend her life with? I guess I am the eternal romantic. Just trying to show a woman's point of view.
