All of this, and more, is the reason why I have zero loyalty to any car rental company. I rent a car every week of the year and simply go with whoever gives me the most Southwest bonus points for the lowest rental cost. Then I use those points for the wife and I to go see the grandkids once in a while.

The only reason why I don't lease a car for my consulting business is that I never really know when a contract will dry up and then I might have to switch to flying instead of driving.
