She's right because it's a lovely hotel. Unfortunately, I haven't been for many years because it is atrociously expensive. So usually, when I'm in London, I go at the bar for a drink and cry when I return to my Novotel.
I agree completely, except for me it's another chain I go to. If I can't have the St. James, I can't have Accor in London. Two hotels in the world for me are tied for the most comfortable bed. This hotel and the Ritz Carlton Atlanta. They are both chain hotels, but IMHO there is something special about the beds at these two.
