I have a trip scheduled over New Years. I know that Southwest does end of year processing for a few days in January. Do A-List qualification come off instantly at midnight on Dec 31 or do they persist for a time?

When I was Status matched from Airtran it seemed to persist sometimes and sometimes not. This is the first year this has come up for me.
