I know that excess information can sometimes distract....but otoh, insufficient information can confuse. So, here goes:

We're starting in the middle of the country, flying out of a regional airport. After considering pricing, our best one-connection routes to Tokyo are SFO, IAH, and ORD. The latte two are both ANA operated flights, and roughly three hours longer than the SFO flight.

I will check the ANA aircraft details, that's helpful info.....
