Pretty sure most of us who come to GHK year after year strongly disagree with your opinion about the property. I made prob 40-50 trips to HI, stayed at 15-20 different places (with reasonable prices) and this is still my favorite.

In terms of information sharing (which is certainly one of the points of FT), the information I would share relative to this property is that I'd rather pay $200 a night for a bungalow in Hanalei or Haleiwa than stay at a crowded, touristy resort that is "in" Hawaii but lacks any real aloha feel. And save my Hyatt points for cities like New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, etc.
