Exactly to whom or what lobby would AA be appeasing by cutting the PHL-TLV flight? And by what magic can AA turn an unprofitable route profitable? I doubt they'd lie when they make such specific statements they did because they're easily verifiable.
Did it ever occur to you we're discussing why AA cut the route, and not "defending AA"?
