If that is indeed the case, then why is this route such a money loser? If they can't fill the planes, presumably AA would cut fares. I don't for a moment claim to be knowledgable about this route but I've more than periodically priced TLV and have never found any bargain revenue tickets ex-US. Have also never found any AA award tickets either, other than the weekend earlier in the year when the IT conversion opened the gates for J seats.
